DEADLINE IS AT 5 PM GUYS!

It's contest time, guys!
Time to draw, and/OR write a story about your favorite Akatsuki!
NOTE!
You don't have to do both a drawing AND a fan fiction. One or the other is fine.

Rules:
~~~~~~~~~~
1. Deadline is August 23rd! (Temari's birthday!)

2. Must be in color! (Colored pencil, crayon, paint, photoshop, whatever. ^^) Just because your line art is blue, red or green, doesn't mean it's colored, guys. Please fill in that white!

3. Limit TWO characters in the picture! (I don't want anyone to outshine anyone else too much.)
Because of the most recent Japan released manga chapters,
Sasuke, Juugo, Karin, and Suigetsu ARE allowed in this contest, but they MUST have the Akatsuki coat!

4. Tegaki entries are welcome. But they must be posted on DA for me to see as well. (I will be posting the thumbnail for each entry in my journal.)

5. Comics are welcome. One page per comic. White backgrounds are allowed, but the characters, MUST be fully colored.

6. You can submit up to two entries. But only one will be eligible to win in one of the three categories. (Two characters can be in both of them if you wish.)

7. I won't make any exceptions for late entries. Please tell me at least a few days in advance if you'll need a deadline extension so I can make an announcement to the other participants.

8. Old deviations are okay, just keep them recent. In other words, submitted within July.

9. Have fun! And remember, I'll be picking four entries based on four different categories! (In other words, each entry will fall into one of these three categories.)

(1) Effort.
You don't have to be the best to win in this category! I want to be able to see how hard you tried. I'll be judging how it compares to the art already in your gallery.
(2) Creativity and awesomeness.
Well, this on is for the already wonderfully talented artists out there. I'll be judging your creativity and overall coolness of your picture.
(3) Character likeness.
In other words, how well you imitate Kishimoto's style. This is a whole different category compared to the other two. I'm looking for how well you can imitate.
NOTE: You don't HAVE to imitate Kishi's style, but if you do, you could win in that particular category. ^^
(4) Fanfiction
The best read wins. A few of my friends and I will all be judging who's best.

FAN FICTION RULES.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Must be at least 600 words long.
2. Can only associate TWO Akatsuki! Other characters are welcome, but NO OC's!! I dislike OC fanfiction!
3. Keep it tasteful. Mild cursing. No drugs. No booze. (I've decided booze is okay, so long as it doesn't lead to drunken sex and amnesia in the morning.)
4. Yaoi imply is allowed. I love romance fics, but I won't object to action/adventure, comedy, etc.
(A hint to those who aim to please. My favorite Akatsuki pairings are Kisame/Itachi, Kakuzu/Hidan, Tobi/Deidara, and Juugo/Suigetsu.)
