This one is for a club I've been happy to be a part of for a few months. :)

The idea was to immitate a popular fan artist from Japan. Her name is Lily.
I wanted to do it well, but not too well. (IE, I didn't want people to think SHE did it, and I just claimed the pic as my own. :))

And as I was nearing the end of my coloring, I just got frustraited with it and really grumpy. I'm sorry, Ty.


If Lily ever saw this I would hope she likes it as much as I do.


Oh yeah, I'm only making this downloadable because the thought of seeing it plastered all over the internet thrills me to death.
But if I see this on a wall scroll or something on ebay, I will hunt you down and call you bad names.
Please don't sell my art like you did it yourself. I don't like it, and it's degrading.

It's okay, I'm not upset. ^^ I know you got frustraited. That happens when you work your butt off on a picture for so long. ^^ So I understand.

You worked so hard on this, and it would be cool to see it posted up somewhere on "best art in the world" websites. XD I know it'll happen too.

You know, with most of the pictures you draw, you hardely ever spend more than a day on them (except for meme's, but those don't count because they're multiple pictures). I'm proud of you for not giving up completely after the first day was over. ^^ Haha. And I bet that when the Lilly-FC opens their contest, you'll have already won. Lol.

Oh yeah! I'm glad I helped out a bit with the missing things and all that, but now it's time for critique! I absolutely love the brightness of this artwork and how the colors really pop out at you and say, "Look at me! I'm gorgeous!" However, you were attempting to immitate Lily's style and most of her artwork is dark and really quite dreary. The lips look perfect, even the way you shaded them, though Lily usually makes Itachi's eyes red. ^^;

Other than the "comparison" critiques, I can only say how much I love this picture. ^^ I especially enjoy seeing the little things you've done and put in. Like the stars in the top right of the picture that tell the viewer this is Dusk or Dawn, which makes your entire piece revolve around "Akatsuki" itself. I also love how you took the exact colors for skin and shading from one of Lily's own peices. It shows me that you were very dedicated to really trying to make this enjoiable for true Lily fans (and perhaps for Lily herself). I admire that very much. :heart:

You've done a wonderful job on this and, again, I'm very proud of you and how hard you worked.
